Heritage museum. Understand that this building is around 500 years old. Actually this was the palace and converted as jail during British Rule period, Umaithurai was jailed here the room is still mailed in his name. Lot of statues are displayed collected across Tirunelveli, which are more than 500 year old. Different types of Communities lived across and their lifestyles also displayed. Some urn during BC also displayed. Totally this will be interesting those who loves history and very helpful for students. Requesting the concerned department to maintain well and hygiene in and around. This is one of the best places of interest in Tirunelveli.

A surprising place within the heart of the city. This place tend to possess the details of our enriched past. A lot of ancient sculptures which have been excavated near by have been well preserved and can be viewed by the local at a very negligible cost.
