It's a new and improved airport in thr twin cities catering to it's citizens. The place is maintained well. It has some good connectivity to different parts of the country. And the place need more look after for the restrooms. And the place need proper system for taxi and auto Services. As the driver's start to come after the passengers as they come out of the airport

This small town airport is super peaceful and rush free - as most of the time, the maximum number of planes on the runway is - two. With supportive and polite staff eager to help and guide you, it is very refreshing experience unlike tour usual airport memories. The only problem is, as very few travellers are there, there are not many amenities...one small food stall is there, where you can get basic snacks like tea, coffee, chips, biscuits - not exactly suited for a complete meal. So if you are travelling at night, or having a long stay here - think twice, have your food with you, cause in this small town, there won't be any restaurant open after 10.

Today, 22/02/2020, I had to drop my sister at the airport for the morning Indigo flight of 9.10am. I took free parking ticket, unloaded the luggage from the car and was back at the gate in 7 minutes. The parking security person was extremely rude and said that I have to pay Rs.35/- for parking as I had crossed the limit of 5 minutes free parking. After some argument I did pay the parking fees. I think it’s physically impossible to come out by 5 minutes. It takes more than a minute to reach the departure gate and another minute to reach back to the entrance gate. It’s impossible to unload the luggage in 3 minutes. When the person knows that I’ve not parked at all, it’s wrong to take parking fees from me. Not a good experience at all

The Airport gates open only at 6:00 am in the morning !!! Please be aware if you're planning to arrive at dawn to the airport. We got to the airport at 3:30 am after taking an overnight bus for our flight which was 8:00 am on Jan 2nd. We were very rudely denied at the gate by a night time security to come back at 6:00 am. We had to then arrange for a few hours of accommodation. If it's the airport policy , I didn't see the same highlighted on their website or while booking my flight tickets. Not the best of experience.
