Just another station. But much cleaner and with appropriate boards. The negatives are (1) Distance from the main road and (2) excess fare demanded by Rick drivers.

4/ 5

Small station located. With a good waiting hall and toilets for ladies and gents separately which we have to show the reservation ticket upon request to station master. Nature view is just amazing from this station. Trivandrum is just 15 kilometers away from this station. Auto rickshaw stand and bus stop is just 100 to 300 meters walk able distance away from the railway station. Some of express trains and passengers stop here. There is a small canteen working inside the platform which will serve you tea, cool drinks, cookies, snacks etc. with a well-equipped ticketing system. Platform 2nd to be cleaned a bit full of grass and shrubs which makes uncomfortable for passengers to sit in waiting area.

A small station. Usually crowded in weekends. There are only a limited number of trains that stop over here. This station is used by a number of techies. There has been a constant demand to increase the number of trains that has to stop here. It takes around 45 mins in bus and 15 mins in train to the central station. Some more trains were added here recently. Also the basic infrastructure has improved in last few months. There are better shades and a display of the train status that were added
