One of the best museums in south India. It has a wide collection of exhibits which you don't generally find in other museums. The entrance fee is nominal. It is in the congest part of the city and you might need to plan for reaching there accordingly. There is enough things to look around and it could easily take 2 hours if not more to look around the place. Maintenance is good. The clock in display attracts crowd. Worth visiting this place and must be in Hyderabad Itinerary.

A place where you can spend half day off your visit. There are so many halls you need to keep your self charged for visiting all of them. I found this place interesting but my kids got bored as it was out of there interest. Good parking space where you can keep your vehicle for entire day in same ticket. Most interesting hall was with ivory collection from different countries don’t miss it. A antic clock in the middle of the museum where people wait to strike 12 noon to see its working. Informative and interesting place to visit..

A unique Clock is a big attraction for specially kids. Try to reach in the morning so that you can see 10, 11 or 12 hitting of the bell. Keep atleast half day for the museum. Must see place, if visiting Hyderabad. Enjoyed seeing antiques and historical articles. Lot of history, with articles of old era, increases general knowledge of the children.
