If you are not obedient. If you are a rebel. Don't even think of going to this college. This college is only for people who can survive a 4 year monotonous life. It follows the Stalin's model of Soviet Union. It's a concentration camp of around 2000 people. It has one dictator in guise of Principal. And a puppet in the name of brother. If you love your freedom go to some other college. Students here are not united. Though there have been attempts to unite but all of them were successfully repelled by the authoritarians. Human rights abuse is daily life in this complex.

2/ 5

Overall the college is good . Attendence , canteen , Placement head (wp) are the reason for the 2 stars, attendence should be 75 percent in every subject and overall failing to which your parents will be called. Canteen food is something you must avoid its worst than hostel food plus you have to pay for it. Placement head does not care about the students only about the numbers (ie first he will make you think that getting the first company is imp doesnt matter what job you get then when better companies come later you wont be allowed to sit since you have a job already , so if you are already in sfit or are put because of unknown reasons dont rely on the placement head for jobs do proper research about companies then only sit for it ) . Leaving those three factors the college is good teachers are always ready to help and other facilities are decent.

PLACEMENT IS BAD , Faculty is good , teaching is average . infrastructure is good . If you want good placements dont take this college . The college says it has 80 percent placement every year which is somewhat true but you wont get a company of your choice. The TPO head will frighten you initially by saying that you should get job in the initial stages . then he brings mass recruiter and once you get into the company then later he brings good company but wont let you sit for it making sure if by mistake you sit he will cancel the previous offer letter . if placement into a good company is your aim dont come to SFIT till the tpo head is changed(The one who is TPO head in 2019) else the college is good. for good placements go to Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan's College of Engineering.

I would rate negative stars if it were possible. The worst college on planet Earth(maybe Solar system too).Period. Teachers are good but management is pathetic. Worst canteen and food quality. Quite expensive. College more strict than a convent boarding school. Way too strict for students aged 18-23 yrs. Too much emphasis given on attendance and only academic development is possible. They end up making you mechanical donkeys at the end of 4 yrs. College keeps making their own oppressive stupid and inappropriate rules . Students are blackmailed for everything against attendance. Defaulter are treated as murderers and terrorists.Parents involved in the silliest things. Number one source of suicidal intentions id this institution
